S P i R E

SPiRE-flyerSince Jan 2022, I’ve been working on a project called SPiRE: a series of plein air drawings, looking back at Salisbury Cathedral spire from as far as possible beyond the city, from 32 compass points. So, most are about the stunning wider landscape around Salisbury through the seasons. Each drawing also has a written narrative of things experienced while I was there, such as wildlife, sounds, the weather and more. 

The drawings were all made using mixed media (pen, wax pastel, watercolour, ink and stick, oil base pencils) on Saunders Waterford HP watercolour paper. 

They were exhibited at Fisherton Mill, Salisbury from 9 September – 7 October 2023.

Limited Edition Prints (edition size: 25) are available of all the drawings below.
The print size of the rectangular images is 45 x 60cm. The price unframed / unmounted is £120
The print size of the smaller panoramic images (Nos: 5 and 29 ) is 82 x 30cm. The price unframed / unmounted is £120
